What does it take to get free checking?
A: There are numerous factors that determine whether an account
will be charged a service fee. For example: the number of checks
written, the average balance of the account, and the number of deposits
are all factored into service charge calculation. There are several
of our accounts that may be obtained without service charges.

Do you offer accounts for nonprofit groups?
A: Civic organizations are entitled to receive one account that
may be without service charges or minimum check writing restrictions.

Do you offer sweep accounts?
A: We do offer sweep accounts for our corporate customers. Any available
funds over a prescribed dollar amount are automatically swept into
an interest-earning repurchase agreement.

Can we earn interest on our corporate account?
A: No, by law this option is not available, unless handled through
a sweep account.

Can we order our own checks?
A: You may order your own checks. Many of our customers have check
styles used for computerized accounting systems.

Do you have telephone banking?
A: Telephone banking is available by calling
704-238-8055 in Union & Mecklenburg counties and 877-586-2226 in South Carolina.

Can you access your commercial line of credit through your checking
account?
A: Credit lines can only be accessed by telephone or in writing
by authorized individuals on the loan.

A: We offer automatic debits out of checking and savings accounts
for your loan payments.

A: All business accounts statement cycles are the last business
day of the month.

Q: What do I do if I have lost my ATM or debit/check card?
A: Please call 1-800-424-7787, for Mastercard check cards, and 1-800-284-2286, for VISA check cards, to report a lost or stolen card.
