Q: Can I have my loan payment debited out of my checking account?
A: Yes. American Community Bank offers automatic transfers out of checking and savings accounts for your loan payments.

Q: How do we access our Prime Equity Line as an overdraft protection?
A: There are several ways to access your Prime Equity Line. You have the option to write checks directly off your Equity Line. You can also attach your Equity Line to your checking account and use the Line for overdraft protection. If needed to cover checks written, we will transfer money from your Equity Line in $100 increments.

Q: Which branches have Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)?
A: We offer ATM's in the Main Office, Wal-Mart (Monroe), Indian Trail, Marshville, Mint Hill, SouthPark, South Blvd., Mountain Island, Tega Cay/Ft. Mill, Gaffney Main Office, Blacksburg, and Chesnee Highway Office locations.

Q:Which branches have safe deposit boxes?
A: The Main Office, Indian Trail, Marshville, Mint Hill, SouthPark, South Blvd., Mountain Island , Tega Cay/Ft. Mill, Gaffney Main Office, Blacksburg, and Chesnee Highway office locations all have safe deposit boxes. There are several safe deposit box sizes for you to choose from.

Q:What is the minimum amount required for opening up a CD?
A: $500.

Q: Do you offer ROTH IRAs?
A: Yes. We offer ROTH IRAs as well as traditional IRAs depending on the need.

Q: Do you charge a fee on accounts for civic organizations?
A: Civic organizations are entitled to receive one account without service charge.

Q: Do you return checks back to your customer in their monthly statement?
A: We have invested in a check imaging system. In your monthly statement, we send copies of your checks rather than the original check. This has allowed us to keep our fees lower than other banks and provide faster customer service if you need a copy of a check at a later time.

Q: What is the latest I can make a deposit and get credit?
A: We offer “all day banking”. Deposits made before 5:00 PM on Monday-Thursday and 6:00 PM on Friday will be credited that business day.
